The Capozzi story began two generations ago. Ruthann (Anne)  is a third-generation specialist in the cabinet industry.  She was brought up in the cabinetry shop environment. After joining her father’s business, she quickly discovered she had a passion for helping people, and designing the best environments to live in. This was the humble beginnings of Capozzi Design Build.

Launched in 2004, Anne Capozzi and husband Kevin launched Capozzi Design Build to serve homeowners in the greater Cleveland area. Kevin and Anne are the dynamic President and CEO of Capozzi Design Build. They are the only husband and wife team that has been dedicated to serving Northeast Ohio for over fifteen years. With their vision and leadership, they’ve been acknowledged with several awards for design and craftsmanship, while simultaneously winning the hearts and loyalty of their incredible clients.

Anne wanted to pursue the highest level of education available for kitchen and bathroom renovation. She holds a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) certification, is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and served as Director of Education. Anne believes in always honing her skills as a designer.

She became a Certified Aging in Place (CAPS) Specialist in 2012. As an early adopter, she saw the great value in the most comprehensive  and current training  available world-wide for Universal Design.

In 2019, she became the first person in Northeast Ohio with the CLIPPS designation, by the Living In Place Institute. She has also served on the local board of the Home Builders Association (HBA), as well as the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce and Board member for the local NKBA chapter.
